I don’t know why I love France so much; the Impressionists, art history, history in general. I have been fortunate to travel to France and spend time exploring the areas I have learned about through books and to have driven the countryside exploring areas I’ve never heard of. I am re-reading Peter Mayle in preparation for a trip to Provence and refreshing my art history memory.
