The NC Farmers’ Market is one of the most stimulating places in Raleigh. It is full of activity, wholesome foods, and a visual display of color and texture. I taught photography during the summer and always took my students to the farmers’ market to study color. The agricultural industry may not teach color theory but these vendors provide excellent examples of how color can be manipulated to enhance even the most basic vegtable.

And it’s not all about food!
