Description
Chimney on Old Rock House at Dix Park – Dorothea Dix began as a part of Spring Hill Plantation and was later the site of North Carolina’s first mental health facility. It is currently being converted into a wonderful city park. Near the entrance are 3 lovely houses built from rock. They have been neglected over the last few decades but are now being renovated. I took my photography students here to concentrate on texture and story.
Each print is sized to fit the paper size; the image area varies based on the original dimensions of the art. It is printed on thick matte paper using a multicolor, water-based inkjet printing technique that yields brilliant prints.
